The cosmic squids comprise a range of genetically modified squid species created by Vampira Infernalis to serve as her minions for war. The different species posses a vast array of different abilities, and range in size from a few inches to thousands of kilometers.
They can be controlled in battle by either Vampira herself, or by Cosmic Commander Squid.
